Had this problem looking at Mazda3's. Everyone has their’s listed as a GT (leather; automatic, daul-zone climate control; HIDs; etc), when they’re actually base models.
Same thing with Miatas. Most are listed as SE or Shinzen models when they’re obviously base models or LS at best.
People suck at making car ads.

Yuuuup. When I was looking for IS300s with a manual, they were all listed as 5 speed manual, so when I called i would ask if it had buttons on the steering wheel that said “down" if they said yes I’d thank them for their time and hang up immediately.
Ps my Speed3 has auto climate control, but is a sport model

Was that a standalone option? I thought climate control was tied to trim level.

No, all Speed3s had it standard.
GT models had HIDs, LED tails, leather/fabric for 2007, and Leather/suede for 2008/2009, and auto wipers/headlights. Sport models had halogen headlights, “regular” tail lights, fabric interior, and that’s it, no other major differences.
